Welcome to UWEC Water Ski & Wakeboard Team
Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Waterski and Wakeboard Team! Our club organization is offered to all types of skill levels and provides many opportunities to improve your skills and meet new people. This club does not require practices, tournaments, extended involvement, weekend work, or equipment.
The Waterski and Wakeboard club exist to give students the opportunity to advance their skills through supportive coaching. We encourage all levels of abilities to join our organization and strive to make our team the best club on campus!

Team Practice
Our team practices are scheduled at various times during the day depending on our boat driver’s schedules. Drivers will post the available ski sessions on Skydrive. After joining the team you will be given access to our Skydrive password enabling you to view the site. Skiers sign up for one-hour sessions with two other members and distribute the time evenly. Fall season usually runs throughout October and spring starts in April, depending on the weather conditions. If you are interested in more information please email someone on our executive board or come to one of our team meetings (see below).
Tournaments
Our team offers a great opportunity for our members to become fully evolved in this sport. We compete in six water ski tournaments throughout the year, and a few wakeboard tournaments as well. Our competitions are scheduled in both the fall and the spring seasons. This is an amazing opportunity to network with people all over the state and country. Relations made during these social and competitive gatherings last for a lifetime!
Getting Involved
If you are interested in joining our team you are welcome to come to any of our team meetings. They are held on Tuesday nights in Hilltop Lounge (by the Sports and Recreation desk) at 9:00 PM.
